I've struck out in a new direction. After too many years of retail, I've carefully waded into the waters of Multi-Level Marketing. I know what you're thinking "Oh no, another one of those things you're invited to that you suspect is a scam". I have to admit, I feared the same thing. How many friends could I hit up to buy stuff from me? Would I still have family members who would admit they know me? Would the dog still talk to me?
I found something I was not expecting! Something legitimate. Something I wasn't trying to cram down the throats of every Tom, Dick and Harry I came across. Something I could be proud of and a company I could respect and is respected.
So while I balance the worlds of a full time retail management job, volunteering with a dog rescue, a fairly new husband, two grown kids and a fairly busy social life (not necessarily in that order), I have freely decided to add something else. Sometimes I think to myself, you must be crazy! But then I realize, this is a real chance for me, a chance to grow, to overcome fears, a chance to make money.
So I let my oldest daughter convince me to blog about it. Had no idea what a blog was, had no idea how to blog. I guess it's all part of the growth experience. It is all part of my new beginning!
